  I was excited to go here because they proudly advertised hard ice cream shakes. I have been wanting a shake with fresh raspberries AND-hard ice-cream for a while now. When I arrived there was a family eating on the bottom floor, but no employees to be found anywhere. I looked in the order window and saw four employees sitting down looking on one of the guys phones. They do have a bell you can ring I later noticed from one of many home made handwritten signs. The girl who ended up noticing me and my mil jumped up to help and was pretty nice. They got out orders out pretty fast which I expected due the employee to customer ratio. It was pretty decent size for a small. But...it was very disappointing in flavor. The “hard” ice cream was worse than most of the soft ice creams I have had. It tasted like the generic cheap frothy kind you get from the grocery store and was super droopy like it had been sitting out awhile. I didn’t finish even half of it because I didn’t want to waste calories on it. Gross!! I am yet to find my favorite shake here in bear lake (good quality hard with fresh raspberries), but La beaus with extra raspberries is pretty good, and my new favorite is summit inn pizzas with double raspberries. Their soft serve is a good flavor and pretty close. it almost satisfies my picky shake palate!

  Pretty good food, burgers and fries type of a joint. They have milkshakes too, they were tasty. Burger was good and fries were crispy. Prices were reasonable for being a touristy vacation restaurant.

  If you're gonna hire high school kids to run the place, at least make sure the prices are consistent with the quality. Took forever to get my food, and the burger was, surprisingly disappointing. The bun was twice the size of the patty, and they put my lettuce and tomato in a bag on the side? Fries were good though, and I loved the environment.

  Super friendly staff and the service was quick. Best onion rings I've ever had and hands down the best raspberry shakes. Other places can say they have the best- but Jake's actually does. First visit to Bear Lake and Jake's- I'll be back

  Food was great. Burgers and fries, chicken nuggets were crispie. They had a public restroom, which in Bear Lake in uncommon in most stores. Atmosphere was nice and there was lots of covered outdoor seating and standing tables. They also had a rooftop to eat at but it was too warm for us to want to be up there.
